Macomb Mountain

Macomb Mountain is the #21 highest of the 46 Adirondack High Peaks at 4,405 feet above sea level. Herd path (unmarked).

Slide route is steep and exposed; often combined with South Dix.

Named for General Alexander Macomb, hero of the Battle of Plattsburgh in the War of 1812.
